Somatic meditation involves going into the experience of sensation in the body and exploring with curiosity and nonjudgment. In my experience as a massage therapist, when people get massaged in certain areas, they tend to talk about certain upsets or frustrations in their lives. This tends to show up more often in patterns of pain and injury.
In this meditation, you will have the opportunity to witness your body release its tension on its own through the guidance and tone of my voice. You will get to experience your own ability to relax your mind, your stress, and whatever is getting in the way of your joy and contentment with life.
By the end of our session, you will feel as though you just received a massage, and because you are in your own home, you will witness, as you carry the feelings of ease and joy with you throughout your day.
